Chiropractic Care

The Pulstar is an innovative state-of-the-art Technology for the analysis and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and joint problems. The Pulstar utilizes a handheld probe which identifies problem areas and then administrates gentle, repetitive stimulation which safely and effectively adjusts the spine.  The Pulstar is safe and effective for all ages from infants to seniors because it uses precise, controlled, gentle impulses. No strong or heavy forces or twisting, popping or cracking of the spine.

Acupuncture

Dr. Marcuzzo utilizes the Acugraph in his clinic. This state-of-the-art computerized tool is used to analyze and document the energetic status of the Acupuncture medians. Acupuncture merdians are invisible energy pathways that conduct life-force energy or Qi in and around all parts of your body. Any blockage of this energy flow can promote disease. Acupuncture restores energy balances and the proper function of your body returns to health naturally. 

Dr. Marcuzzo utilizes two types of Acupuncture in his clinic needle and non-needle. Both forms of acupuncture restore harmony and balance to the body.

Needle Acupuncture  involves the use of very fine sterile, disposable needles which are inserted into specific points to activate the self healing mechanism of the body.

Non-Needle Acupuncture is the use of electrical stimulation at specific points using two hand held probes. The treatment is pain free and very effective. 

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is used in the clinic to complement and enhance the healing effects of the specific Chiropractic adjustment.   The following physiological therapeutic procedures include:

• Interferential electrical muscle stimulation
• Mechanical Spinal Traction
• Cryotherapy
• Micro-Current Stimulation

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.
